Glasgow-based artist ALLKNIGHT, a recognized figure in the melodic house scene, is shifting the spotlight to her production capabilities with the release of her latest EP, "Becoming." This five-track collection, unveiled today via Enhanced Music’s Colorize imprint, marks a significant milestone for the multifaceted artist, consolidating her recent solo singles and introducing two compelling new collaborations. The EP serves as a definitive statement of ALLKNIGHT’s evolving artistry, highlighting her growth as a singer, songwriter, producer, and DJ.
A Deep Dive into "Becoming"
"Becoming" features a curated selection of tracks that demonstrate ALLKNIGHT’s sonic evolution. The EP includes the previously released singles "No Way Out," "Electric Love," and "I Found You." Notably, "I Found You" represents ALLKNIGHT’s first foray into a production collaboration, working alongside L.GU. The project’s new material comprises the tracks "Overcome" and "If Here Was Forever." These two cuts mark another significant development: ALLKNIGHT’s decision to feature another vocalist on her own records for the first time, bringing Mu00e4ne into the fold.
The collaboration with Mu00e4ne on "Overcome" showcases a dynamic interplay between their talents. ALLKNIGHT takes the reins on production, crafting a soundscape characterized by a bright, optimistic chord progression underpinned by a relaxed, inviting beat. The lyrical narrative of "Overcome" delves into themes of resilience, navigating personal doubts, and emerging from challenges with renewed strength. This track exemplifies ALLKNIGHT’s ability to imbue her productions with emotional depth and relatable storytelling.
In contrast, "If Here Was Forever" injects a more potent, club-oriented energy. This track builds with a driving rhythm and an anthemic quality designed to resonate on the dancefloor. The synergy between ALLKNIGHT and Mu00e4ne is palpable across both tracks, revealing a remarkable range and cohesive artistic vision when they collaborate. The decision to place these two tracks sequentially allows listeners to appreciate the breadth of their combined creative output and the nuanced shifts in mood and intensity they can achieve.
Artistic Growth and Producer Ambitions
ALLKNIGHT has articulated that the "Becoming" EP has been instrumental in solidifying the sonic identity she has been diligently pursuing. "The goal was to push my limits as a producer, and by really stepping into that role, I have learned so much in the process," she stated. This deliberate focus on production signifies a conscious effort to expand her creative horizons beyond her established vocal contributions.
The inclusion of Mu00e4ne on the EP carries profound personal and professional significance for ALLKNIGHT. She elaborated on their long-standing professional relationship: "We have been working together as a team for the last 4 years, and I really wouldn’t be where I am today without her, so it only feels right to have her on this EP as a collaborator." This sentiment underscores the value of mentorship and mutual support within the music industry, particularly for emerging artists navigating the complexities of production and performance.
A Trajectory of Success and Collaboration
"Becoming" builds upon the momentum generated by ALLKNIGHT’s solo releases since her association with Colorize. Prior to her solo endeavors, she cultivated extensive experience as a vocalist and songwriter, contributing to the work of prominent artists such as Marsh, Jody Wisternoff, Le Youth, Rezident, Durante, Robby East, and MYRNE. Her vocal performances have graced releases on esteemed labels including Anjunadeep, This Never Happened, and Lilly Era, establishing her as a sought-after talent within the electronic music community.
ALLKNIGHT’s presence on the global stage has also seen significant expansion throughout the year. In 2026, she made her festival debut at Luminosity Beach Festival in Zandvoort, a landmark event for any emerging artist. This was followed by an extensive tour across the United States as part of the Colorize summer tour, alongside fellow artists Estiva, Mees Salomu00e9, and mu00f6lly. Her live performance credentials extend to prestigious venues, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre and The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, as well as Piknic u00c9lectronik in Montreal during Marsh’s 2024 US tour. These experiences have honed her performance skills and exposed her to diverse audiences, further solidifying her reputation as a dynamic live act.
